Trade Finder
The analyzer grades a trade you already have in mind. The Finder does the opposite: give it your roster and it proposes trades. It reads where you are deep and where you are thin, then searches the player pool for fair-by-value swaps that ship from a surplus and land at a need.
ℹThis is a value-and-need heuristic on preseason projections, not a market of willing trade partners. Every deal is scored by VORP in the format you pick. Whether the other manager says yes is on you.
What do these terms mean?
VORP ★
Value Over Replacement Player: projected points above a freely-available replacement at the same position. Nova's core measure of real value.
Tier ★
Nova's value tier at the position. A tier break marks a real cliff in value, so Tier 1 is the top group, Tier 2 the next, and so on.
Value (gap) ★
ADP minus Nova's rank. A big positive gap means Nova likes him more than the market (a value); negative means the market likes him more (a reach).
Surplus
A position where you roster more than a startable number of players. The Trade Finder looks here for pieces to trade away.
Need
A position where you roster fewer than a startable number of players. The Trade Finder looks here for what to acquire.
Fairness
How close a proposed trade's two sides are in total VORP. Trades within a small VORP band are treated as roughly even value.
